Large tray, Louis XV, Altenloh, sterling silver

🇬🇧Large and sumptuous Louis XV style serving tray in sterling silver 950‰. Two very solid handles in "Rocailles" style. The tray is very solid in workmanship and invites you to use it as often as you can. The silversmith's hallmark is almost illegible, but that of the dealer is more so: the Altenloh boutique in Brussels, jeweler to their majesties. Between 1880 and 1910.

🇫🇷Grand et somptueux plateau de service de style Louis XV en argent massif 950%.
Deux très solides anses en style "Rocailles". Le plateau est très solide de fabrication et invite à l'employer souvent.
Le poinçon de l'orfèvre est presque illisible mais celui du revendeur l'est davantage : la maison Altenloh à Bruxelles , joaillier de leurs majestés.
A dater entre 1880 et 1910.
