Created by the famous designer Luc Lanel for the Christofle house during the interwar period, this extremely refined model combines the great tradition of French elegance with the very geometric and refined shapes of the Art Deco era.
Luc Lanel is best known for his work in conceiving the interiors of the legendary transatlantic steamer Normandy, this floating palace and temple of the Art Deco style which ended its glorious days charred and emptied of its prestigious contents at pier 88 of the port of New York.
